⭐ Top 5 Food Truck in Mississippi — 2026
Mississippi Magazine named Triple J's PizzaTaco one of the Top 5 Food Trucks in the state in their Best of the Best 2026 competition. We're proud of the recognition — and even more proud of the customers who made it possible.
How It Started
Triple J's PizzaTaco opened in the fall of 2023 with one goal: bring bold Southern California flavors to Vicksburg, Mississippi. Owner Jessica Passman, a veteran alongside her husband James, built the truck around fresh ingredients, big taste, and a unique twist on every menu item.
The truck didn't start out as a taco truck. The original concept didn't work out — and so Jessica and James pivoted. They had the signature PizzaTaco from the start, but tacos weren't the main plan. That changed when they released their steak tacos.
"Everything changed once we released our steak tacos."
— Jessica Passman, OwnerHow It Grew
The response to the steak tacos was immediate. Triple J's started showing up everywhere — and people kept requesting them at events. The truck took on a life of its own. Rather than stick to a plan that wasn't working, Jessica and James followed what the people loved.
"The truck quickly took on a life of its own. We simply followed what the people loved, and Triple J's grew into what it is today."
— Jessica Passman, OwnerWhat began as a small food truck quickly attracted a loyal following across Vicksburg. Events, catering requests, and return customers became the engine that drove the business forward.
Where We Are Today
Triple J's PizzaTaco is veteran-owned and operated, built on the values of hard work, consistency, and pride in what gets served. Every item on the menu reflects a commitment to fresh ingredients and bold flavor — the same commitment that started the truck and the same one that keeps customers coming back.
Being named a Top 5 Food Truck in Mississippi by Mississippi Magazine is a milestone — but Jessica is clear about what it really means.
"It's exciting, but also humbling, because behind the scenes it takes nonstop work, long hours, and constant hustle to keep this truck rolling. We couldn't have reached this level without our customers. Y'all are the reason we're here, and we're truly grateful."
— Jessica Passman, Owner
